Currently based in London I am a mature student studying counselling and psychology. Not yet qualified I have completed up to level 3 in counselling studies, this is one of my passions, to create safe spaces for personal explorations. I have an interest in people and a passion for being people positive, in that I believe in the full spectrum of humanity. Living as ourselves we will experience and feel lots of different things, not just what we ‘should’ experience or feel and I am interested in it all.
I am ‘kink’ friendly although not particularly fond of that label as much of it is just normal human sexuality I think. I have explored my own sexuality and found great freedom in that. Self-enquiry for me is on-going and I’m enjoying finding so much out about myself and most importantly, going through the process of acceptance.
Shadow work is interesting to me at the moment, this acknowledgment of the parts of ourselves which we don’t accept for whatever reason, shame, guilt, fear, rejection, disgust etc.
As well as these interests I keep as fit and healthy as I can. I practise meditation and yoga daily. I have a lot of time and respect for religion, although not personally identifying with any denomination, I hold spiritual beliefs which help me negotiate life.
I plan to qualify as a counsellor and therapist and carry on investigating what it means to be human.
